Lynn Torgerson - Director

Lynn is a Civil/Environmental Engineer and part time tutor at Ara Institute of Canterbury.  She became involved in baseball when her son expressed interest in playing the sport a number of years ago. Lynn’s contribution to baseball quickly evolved from a side-line parent, to a scorekeeper, to a club secretary. From there, she became actively involved in growing baseball at the local and regional level. She was instrumental in the development of the Canterbury Baseball Association (CBA) strategic plan, and has represented baseball on the Christchurch City Council Sport Parks Network and the development of their long-term plan.  Well-experienced in the consenting process, Lynn has contributed to the on-going improvements to CBA's Avonhead Park baseball diamonds.  Lynn and her family continue to enjoy the relationships made through local and national baseball.
